Nathan Nandala Mafabi, the FDC Secretary General, pitched camp in Serere County preaching the last gospel for Emmanuel Eratu (FDC Flag bear), ahead of Thursday by-election.
The Budadiri West MP was joined by top party leaders to launch a door to door vote hunt for the blue candidate. Nandala is optimistic that Eratu will win with a landslide.Patrick Amuriat Oboi, the FDC Party President, says there is no tangible reason for the people serere to any other candidate, adding that Eratu has all the qualities of a good leader. Oboi asked security to respect all candidates as they approach voting day.
The five candidates in this election include Martin Onguruco (Independent), Emmanuel Eratu (FDC), Alice Alaso (ANT), Phillip Oucor (NRM), and late Okabe's son Emmanuel Omoding (Independent).
