The Bamasaba Cultural Institution says it will plant more than 2 million trees in a bid to conserve the environment.

Bamasaba Cultural leader Jude Mike Mudoma revealed this while addressing the media following last week’s celebrations of the international environment day. The national celebrations were held in Sironko with a call on Ugandans to plant more trees. Now Mudoma says that they need to be at the forefront of planting trees.

Steven Masiga the Bamasaba Cultural Institution spokesman says that the tree planting initiatives should be funded and supported by all Bamasaba in Uganda and Kenya
