A section of supporters of General Muhoozi Kainerugaba (MK) from Bududa District were on Sunday stranded in Mbale City.
General Muhoozi Kainerugaba was on Saturday in Kapchorwa for a meeting with his supporters and also attended a special church service at St. Andrew's Cathedral in Mbale City on Sunday.
Yunus Wakooli, one of the supporters accuses one Sam Mukhono of mobilizing them for a meeting with General Muhoozi in Mbale City.
According to Wakooli, Mukhono assured them that they would meet Muhoozi after the special church service at St. Andrews Cathedral in Mbale City in vain. Wakooli said that they spent the entire Sunday without food and demanded Mukhono to explain the reasons for not meeting Muhoozi and starving them.

Julius, another Bududa resident, says it is unfortunate that Mukhono convinced
him into travelling to Mbale to meet General Muhoozi. He says the kind of
coordination exhibited by Mukhono punches holes into the leadership of the
entire MK group.
Mukhono
appeared to make a number of calls but the group insisted on taking him to the Mbale police if transport means back to Bududa were not secured.
Milton Kamoti Wasunguyi the Bududa LCV Chairperson says that as a District they were not aware of any plans to mobilize people for a meeting with General Muhoozi in Mbale City.
