Residents of Buwele and Buluhendu villages in Bumulika parish in Namboko Sub County in Namisindwa District have welcomed the rehabilitation of their water well.
The rehabilitation was facilitated by George Sakwa, an aspirant for the Bubulo East Parliamentary position. Residents like Sam Wanyonyi, Margaret Wamalebe and Nelima Sarah says that before the rehabilitation of the well, they have been consuming unclean water. They stressed that some of them have been trekking long distances in search of clean water.
Kadoko Miriam the councilor representing Bumulika parish said that the rehabilitation of the well will improve the lives of the residents. According to Kadoko, leaders who support initiatives aimed at improving service delivery should be backed in the coming elections.
In response, George Sakwa said the rehabilitation of the water source in Bumulika parish will have the residents live a good life as a result of consumption of clean water.
