Bulambuli Resident District Commissioner Stanley Bayole has asked police to arrest health workers absconding from duty.
Bayole made the call yesterday at the handover of Christopher Katumba who has been District Police Commander (DPC) Bulambuli to Jacob Chepscal the new DPC.
According to Bayole, health workers who abscond from duty are putting the lives of patients at risk. He said health workers not committed to serving Ugandans should be investigated and arrested.
Jacob Chepscal the new Bulambuli District Police Commander pledged to work hand in hand with all stakeholders to ensure improved service delivery.
