Residents
of Mukoto Sub-County in Namisindwa District have decried the poor road network
in their area calling upon government to act.
The residents say that the poor road
network has led to significant losses in agricultural produce and also
endangered their lives. Kutosi Ekoyata and Masibo Jane Timbiti, both farmers
decry the high transportation costs they incur in taking their produce to
markets as a result of roads being in a poor state.
Scovia Mutonyi another resident says that
because of the poor road network, expectant mothers struggle to get to health
centres to access proper care.

to improve the state of roads.

improve the roads in his area as the residents await the intervention of the
