The LCIII Chairperson
for Busita Sub County in Sironko District Patrick Mukota has been remanded to
Mutufu government prison on allegations of hacking the payment system of the
Parish Development Model.
Rogers Taitika the
Elgon Region Police Spokesman says that Mukota was arrested and arraigned
before the Sironko magistrates court. Mukota is alleged to have connived with
another suspect Eddy Magomu to hack into five PDM Saccos where they stole five
million shillings meant for PDM beneficiaries in Busita Sub County.

Balwaniregha the Sironko Resident District Commissioner says the suspects will
have to refund the money.
