Budadiri
East legislator Isaiah Sasaga Wanzira has pledged to enhance the education and
health sectors if elected for a third term.
Sasaga made the pledge after being
nominated as the Forum for Democratic Change party flag bearer. Sasaga was
unopposed and will therefore carry the FDC flag for the Budadiri East County
Parliamentary in the 2026 general elections.
Sasaga highlighted his past efforts
in providing bursaries to vulnerable children, orphans, and low-income families.
In the health sector, Sasaga
promised to construct a hospital specializing in care for the elderly.
He also outlined other development
priorities, including supporting agriculture, particularly coffee farming,
which is a major economic activity in the constituency.
In other nominations, Godfrey Wanyoto was nominated for the position of Member of Parliament for Budadiri West once given the FDC flag. Wanyoto vowed to build on Nathan Nandala’s achievements to transform the constituency further.
