Bumalanga, Bumatanda Residents Welcome Borehole Repair for Clean Water Access

Residents of Bumalanga and Bumatanda cells in Bubutu town Council, Namisindwa District have welcomed the repair of a borehole in the area to ease access to clean water.

 


The borehole which broke down in February this year was repaired by George Sakwa, a hopeful for the Bubulo East Parliamentary position.

 

Residents like Nabalayo Alice and Naluwende Junic say the repair of the borehole will improve the quality of water for domestic use in the area. They have applauded Sakwa for supporting their plan of having a reliable safe water source.

 

 

Apollo Wamanga the Bumalanga II cell vice chairperson says that this time around, voters will select leaders who willing to support development projects in the community.

 

 

In response, George Sakwa said the repair of the borehole in Bubutu town council will help to improve the lives of the people through consumption of safe water. According to Sakwa, other leaders should emulate his work by working towards uplifting the lives of the people.

 

 

Sakwa an independent candidate will take on John Musila (incumbent), Amos Masibo and James Wakuma for a chance to become the Member of Parliament for Bubulo East.
