Karamoja State Minister
Florence Nambozo has donated mattresses and bed sheets to health facilities in
Sironko District.
Nambozo,
also the Sironko District Woman Member of Parliament handed out 150 mattresses
and 200 bed sheets.
The
distribution was led by Joshua Nabutewa a personal assistant to Minister
Nambozo. The distribution started in hard to reach areas of Bulujewa, Bumulisha
and Budadiri. According to Nabutewa, all health facilities will receive
mattresses and bed sheets so as to improve health service delivery.
Tom
Namisi the chairperson of Bumulisha Health Centre III welcomed the donation
saying it will save many patients who have been sleeping on the floor.
