Residents of Buweri cell in Namisindwa town council,
Namisindwa district, yesterday shocked after discovering that a minor had
hanged himself on the roof inside his house.
The parent of the deceased, Bernard Namake, said that his son
was 14 years old and was a candidate at Bupoto Primary School.
He, however, says that they are yet to
understand why their son committed suicide.
The LCIII Chairperson of Namisindwa town
council, Godfrey Nangoli has confirmed the incident and urged locals to stop
spreading false information that the minor was murdered. He expressed
concern that such rumors could cause insecurity in the area.
