Christian
Childcare Programme (CCP) Executive Director Nathan Walyaula says children
should not spend all their time on social media but rather in productive
ventures that can better their lives.
According to Walyaula, many
children spend their time on social media and watching television during
holidays. Walyaula says that parents need to keep their children engaged in
productive ventures such as enrolling them on short term practical courses. He
says this will make them learn practical skills that could be of help in the future.
Walyaula says the world is
embracing technical and vocational education and there is need for the young
people to embrace it so as to fight the unemployment problem.
