FM journalist Emma Bwayo has been nominated to contest for the Namisindwa LC5
Chairperson’s seat.
Bwayo was nominated at the NRM National
Party offices in Kyadondo on Monday morning. Bwayo, who also serves as the Male
Youth Councillor for Namisindwa District, was nominated by the Chairperson of
the NRM Electoral Commission, Dr. Tanga Odoi. At the event, Dr. Odoi urged all
candidates to adhere strictly to electoral laws and guidelines throughout the
process.
Following his nomination, Bwayo said that
he will prioritize value for money in public service delivery, career
development and youth empowerment, equitable access to services, and the fight
against corruption in Namisindwa District.
Other candidates nominated from Namisindwa
District on Monday include Khalayi Peace for Woman Member of Parliament and Wakuma
James and Masibo Amos both vying for the NRM flag for Bubulo East Parliamentary
position.
