Leaders from the ruling National Resistance Movement
(NRM) party in Namisindwa District have launched a door to door mobilization
drive for their Presidential flag bearer Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and other flag
bearers in the 2026 general elections.
The launch held at
Namisindwa District headquarters on Wednesday was attended by NRM District
Executive Committee (DEC) members, Sub county chairpersons, Parliamentary and
LCV flag bearers.
Aramazan Wabuko the NRM
Chairperson for Namisindwa District says that starting October, 2025, they are
to start a door to door campaign for President Yoweri Museveni and all NRM flag
bearers. According to Wabuko, they also cautioned party members against endorsing
opposition or independent candidates.
Bubulo East Member of
Parliament John Musila said the mobilization drive aims at galvanizing support
for President Museveni and all NRM flag bearers with emphasis on unity.
Emma Bwayo, the LCV NRM flag bearer stressed the need for unity amongst parry leaders. Bwayo said the primary objective is to deliver victory for President Yoweri Museveni and all party flag bearers to ensure continued access to government services.
