Police in Mbale City are holding a sino truck driver for knocking dead two security guards who were going for duty.
Rogers Taitika the Elgon Region Police Spokesman identifies the driver as Narinda Safi aged 42. Safi driving sino truck motor vehicle registration number UBK 743N/ UBG 957V knocked Wambi Kenneth aged 43 and Walimbwa Titus aged 22.
Taitika says that the two were security guards attached to Real SecurityServices in Mbale City. Taitika says that the two were crushed by the rear tyres of the truck along the Mbale –Tororo road at the Uganda Revenue Authority check point.
The bodies of the deceased have been taken to the Mbale City mortuary for post-mortem.
