Police in Namisindwa are holding a 37 year old man for illegal possession of live ammunition.
The suspect has been identified as Evans Bwayo a resident of Kufu village, Masaaka aprish, Namabya Sub County, Namisindwa District.
James Nakhaima the LCIII chairperson for Namabya Sub County says the suspect is a former guard with Alpha Security Company in Kampala. He says Bwayo stopped working with Alpha in 2016 and has been at his home. Nakhaima says the suspect was sighted with a bullet and the residents notified police. He was picked up and is currently being held at Magale Police Post.
Rogers Taitika the Elgon Region Police Spokesman said he had not yet been briefed about the matter.
