The body of unidentified woman has
been discovered in a manhole in Mbale City.
The manhole was discovered at manhole at the Mbale City Taxi
Park entrance along the Mbale, Tororo road.
Pupils of Mbale Police Barracks Primary School alerted some
residents about a stench smell emanating from the manhole. A search was carried
out and a female adult aged 25 years in a black skirt and a brown blouse was
found and picked from the manhole.
Rogers Taitika the Elgon Region Police Spokesman has
confirmed the incident and says the body has been taken to Mbale City mortuary
for postmortem.
