Peace Khalayi focuses on unity and development as she launches her rallies Greater Bubutu in Bubutu town council.

Ms. Khalayi Peace advanced her district-wide campaign trail with a dynamic and well attended rally in Bubutu Town Council, Namisindwa District. The gathering drew a large, enthusiastic crowd, whose warm reception reflected growing confidence in her leadership and vision for community development.


Chairperson of the Women’s League, Junic Matuka, applauded Peace’s commitment to service delivery and urged the people of Namisindwa to rally behind leaders who prioritize community needs.

NRM District Registrar, Mr. Wepukhulu Richard, emphasized the importance of fair political competition. He noted that once results are determined, communities should unite and focus on development rather than division.

District Councilor flag bearer Faridah Kimaswa, representing Buwabwa and Magale Subcounties, pledged full support and mobilization for Peace’s campaign. The Mayi Bubutu Choir also performed a song endorsing her candidacy, symbolizing strong grassroots backing. Other leaders present included Bubutu Town Council NRM Chairman Khisa Michael and Greater Bubutu councilor flag bearers.

NRM District Chairperson, Mr. Aramazani Wabuko, called on voters to support party flag bearers at all levels, stressing that aligned leadership enhances opportunities for growth across the district.

In her remarks, Khalayi Peace thanked Bubutu residents for their trust during the NRM primaries and urged them to maintain unity as elections draw near. She highlighted her priorities ; improved health services, better roads, stronger education, and entrepreneurship opportunities and concluded by requesting continued support in the January 15 elections, affirming that collective effort is key to Namisindwa’s progress.
