A seven-year-old boy was today knocked dead by an ambulance attached to Mbale District Local Government.
The boy who was heading to Precious Nursery and Primary School for studies on a motorcycle registration number UFD 105G, was knocked by the speeding ambulance registration number UG 6740M.
James Wandeba an eye witness says the speeding ambulance hit wo motorcycles including the one carrying the pupil.
Moses Mutabingwa the Elgon Region Police Traffic Officer confirms the accident and says they are holding the driver of the ambulance identified as Godfrey Matsanga.
