Budadiri East Member of Parliament Isaiah Sasaga Wanzira has called upon parents to ensure that their children are registered in time for the national examinations.

Speaking to Elgon FM, Sasaga says under the new education curriculum, students in senior three are supposed to be registered so as to be able to take national examinations in senior four. According to Sasaga students in senior three have projects that must be registered by the Ugandan National Examinations Board (UNEB).

He has also urged parents with children in senior four and senior six to have them registered for this year’s national examinations by the end of this week. Sasaga who is also the director for Sironko Parents Schools says that failure to register in time will lead to surcharges.

On the opening of second term studies, Luseshe County Member of Parliament in Bududa District, Isaac Modoi has asked parents to send their children back to school to avoid struggles in the coverage of the education syllabus. Modoi has also urged school managers to bear with the parent’s school fees challenges by setting up flexible payment plans.
