John Amuram Wagabyalile the Masaba cultural elected leader has launched Inemba which is to take place across Bugisu region during this odd year.
Inemba is a special dance for all circumcised boys who were circumcised last year and this is organized by elders from respective clans across Bugisu region during odd years.
The Inamba was launched at Sano sub-clan located at Busano sub-county Mbale district at Wanale clan and will later be spread to different clans across the Bugisu region.
While speaking to hundreds of healed circumcised boys who were going to dance inemba yesterday, Wagabyalile warned inaugurated boys against over drinking and early marriage. He adds that getting circumcised doesn’t mean that someone is not under his parent and meaning should marry.
Wagabyalila also says that the circumcised boys at Busano and Bugisu at large should continue with education and obey their parents and avoid drinking as the only way of having a good future generation in Bugisu.
Jonathan Wanzala the
chairperson of Sano clan and other cabinet members expressed their happiness with the dance saying that
last year they failed to have such ceremonies due covid19 outbreak.
