Anti-Homosexuality messages dominated the belated Women’s Day celebrations for Sironko District.

The celebrations were held at Budadiri playground in Budadiri town council. Rachel Nandelege the Sironko District Community Development Officer asked parents especially mothers to guide their children against embracing same sex relations.

 

Nandelege says the only way of fighting same sex relations is by spreading the gospel about the dangers that lie ahead for those who engage in them.

 

Rosemary Gidongo the head teacher Budadiri Girls Primary School asked head teachers to intensify anti-homosexuality counselling sessions.

 

Isiah Sasaga the Member of Parliament for Budadiri East asked young people not divert from the known cultural family norms. Sasaga pledged to support the Anti-Homosexuality Bill currently before Parliament.
