David Mityelo the Namisindwa District PDM focal person says that they lack money for allowances of parish chiefs who are meant to help in the implementation of the programme.
Mityelo who was giving an account of PDM in Namisindwa said that some parishes received only 30 million shillings out of the 100 million shillings. He said that the money is too little to be given to the SACCOs.
Jackson Wakweika the Namisindwa LCV Chairperson tasked Members of Parliament to follow up the matter and compel government to release more funds to ensure the programme is successfully implemented.
John Musila the Bubulo East MP said the challenge of inadequate funds was a country wide matter and pledged to raise it on the floor of Parliament.
