A German funded organization, Tukolele Wamu has handed over a three classroom block that it renovated at Bumbobi Primary School in Mbale District.

Mary Nelima Gorret the head teacher Bumbobi Primary School which is government aided says that with the ever growing number of the pupils at the school, the completion of the three classroom block has come at the right time.

Nelima says that before renovation, the classrooms were in a dilapidated state, small and congested. She now says that the classrooms are now bigger and more desks have been added as part of the support by Tukolele Wamu. She says the support will have a positive impact on the school’s academic performance.

William Mafabi the Parents, Teachers Association (PTA) Chairperson says that with the renovated block and more furniture donated, the school will attract more children. Mafabi has asked the District authorities to construct more toilets to match the growing number of children.
