Uganda
Cranes Head Coach Paul Joseph Put has committed his future by signing a new
contract to steer the team for the next two and half years.
The development was confirmed on Thursday
morning at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba with FUFA 1st Vice President Justus Mugisha and
FUFA CEO Edgar Watson revealing the news.
Put signed his first contract with FUFA
back in November 2023 and has since helped to transform the team. Guiding the
Uganda Cranes back to AFCON and also doing well in the 2026 FIFA World Cup
Qualifiers.
Since his arrival, Put has been in charge
of Uganda 23 times and his record reads; 13 Wins, 3 Draws, 7 losses, 30 goals
scored, 24 goals conceded.
FUFA CEO, Watson believes it was important to continue the journey with coach
Put and hopes for even better in the next phase.
