After suffering a 4-0 defeat to Comoros on Friday, Uganda Cranes will tonight take on Ghana in the second and final international friendly of this window break.

The Cranes return to Stade Grande Marrakech hoping to bounce back from what could be considered their most significant defeat in three years, since January 2021 when they suffered a 5-2 loss to Morocco during the Total Africa Nations Championship (Chan) in Douala, Cameroon.

Their only other notable loss was against Uzbekistan in 2022, where despite a 4-2 defeat, the Cranes managed to find the net twice. However, as they aim to recover, they face a Ghana side equally determined to make amends after a 2-1 loss to Nigeria in their previous friendly, a result that stretched their winless run to six matches.

This will be the ninth meeting between the Cranes and the Black Stars, with the East Africans recording just one victory - a 1-0 win in an African Cup of Nations qualifier in 2014 - alongside three defeats and four draws.
