Uganda's National Under 18 Head Coach, Morley Byekwaso says that his team will bounce back in the CECAFA U-18 Boys Championships after a defeat to Tanzania in the opening match.
Currently, Uganda is tied at the bottom of Group B with South Sudan after defeats against Tanzania and Zanzibar, respectively. Zanzibar secured a 1-0 victory over South Sudan in the previous match, placing them jointly at the top of Group B alongside Tanzania.
The team lost 1-0 to Tanzania, with William Sharif scoring the decisive goal fifteen minutes into the match that was played at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega.
With only the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals, Byekwaso called for a flawless performance in the upcoming group games. According to the schedule, Uganda is set to face Zanzibar on Wednesday.
