United and England winger Jadon Sancho has rejoined former club Borussia
Dortmund on loan for the rest of the 2023-24 season.
The 23-year-old moved to Old Trafford in a £73m
deal from German club Dortmund in July 2021.
He has not played for United since 26 August after
falling out with manager Erik ten Hag and has been training away from the first
team since September.
Sancho is already in Germany having completed a
medical on Wednesday, and is expected to join the club's mid-season training
camp in Marbella.
His relationship with Ten Hag deteriorated after he
was omitted from the squad for September's defeat at Arsenal, with the Dutchman
stating it was because of his performance in training. Sancho rejected those
claims and said on social media that he was being made
a "scapegoat" and later refused to apologize for his
comments, which led to his exile.
