Goals from Richard Basangwa, Fahad Bayo, and
Rogers Mato gave Micho’s side a new rhythm a few days after the same team lost
their first practice match 2-0 to Kitara Region select team.
The defeat had triggered concern ahead of the
crucial double header for Uganda Cranes against their rivals Tanzania in the
Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. But a win against a more
reputable side relaxes the anxiety.
Uganda Cranes is preparing to clash with
Tanzania’s Taifa Stars in a two-match series in the AFCON qualifiers. Uganda
