Big League side Mbale
Heroes has donated 100 mama kits to expectant mothers in Mbale city.
The mama kits were handed over at Busamaga Health Centre III in
Busamaga ward, Industrial City Division.
Speaking at the handover, Andrew Wambi the Mbale Heroes
Chairperson attributed the donation to the Club’s plan of supporting mothers.
Wambi said the number of mama kits in health centers is inadequate and they had
to step in.
Geoffrey Wanyama the in charge, Busamaga health center III said
that despite receiving mama kit supplies from government, the number of
expectant mothers at the facility is overwhelming. Wanyama has called for more
support saying Mbale Heroes should be emulated.
