Nathan Nandala Mafabi the Budadiri West Member of Parliament has accused members of parliament from the National Unity Platform and other opposition political parties of engaging in uncoordinated boycott of plenary.

Nandala, also the Forum for Democratic Change Party Secretary General while addressing the media said the legislators who boycotted plenary exhibited double standards.

According to Nandala, despite the boycott of plenary, the opposition legislators continued to attend committee meetings and went on foreign trips; an act he says should not have happened.

Nandala says that there is no way he could fail to attend plenary to be part of a discussion on the Oil bill which will have a direct effect on the Ugandan economy.

Despite acknowledging the concerns by the current opposition leadership they should have involved everyone in the opposition circles to agitate for a real boycott as opposed to having a selective one.
