Lwandubi Primary School parents in Namabya Sub County, Namisindwa District today locked the head teachers’ office accusing him of incompetence and poor performance.

The parents cite the declining student enrollment numbers from 1,000 to less than 200 and the failure by the head teacher Wilson Mabala to organize the school’s annual general meeting. Wayelo Robert one of the residents says they have now opted to transfer their children elsewhere as a result of the school’s poor academic performance.

Robert Malemo another parent says that for the last six years, the school has performed poorly and there is need to transfer the head teacher Wilson Mabala.

Wanzusi Brazil the Namabya Sub county Chairperson says that unknown people poured super glue into the padlocks of the head teacher’s office.

Wilson Mabala declined to comment on the matter. Lwandubi Primary School had 86 candidates last year with none passing in division one, 2 in Division II, 23 in Division III and 14 in Division IV.
