Namindwa Resident District Commissioner Elijah Madoi has applauded leaders who work towards the development of communities by providing solutions to their problems.

Madoi said this while officiating at the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Shelter Academy of Light Primary School in Musiye village, Musiye parish, Buwambwa Sub-County in Namisindwa District on Thursday. The school is being constructed by George Sakwa and his wife Grace Sakwa. Sakwa is a candidate for the Bubulo East Parliamentary position.

According to Madoi, having a school in the area will improve the literacy levels but also boost the economic ability of the community. He said the fact that Sakwa had given back to the community through such an investment is testament that people can supplement government effort in improving lives.

Lusayi William John the acting District Education Officer for Namisindwa has welcomed the construction of the school saying that it will improve education standards in the District.

George Sakwa the brainchild of the project says the school will offer first class education which will mold the children into responsible citizens.
