The piglets worth 72 million shillings were
given out by the production department with an aim of boosting the household
income of the farmers.
David Mityelo the acting production officer
for Namisnindwa says the piglets are fast maturing and fetch good prices which
can improve the economic well-being of the farmers.
Sam Kundu and Nicolas
Soita the LCIII Chairpersons for Buwatua and Bukiabi Sub Counties respectively have
warned farmers against selling the piglets.
Margaret Nandutu and
John Wakwale are some of the farmers who received the piglets saying they will
look after them well.
