Pride Bank has launched a strategic partnership with
Interswitch, marking a significant step in expanding access to convenient,
secure and affordable banking services for customers across Uganda.
The partnership
brings together Pride Bank’s commitment to accessible financial services and
Interswitch’s payments infrastructure to give customers more ways to access,
manage and use their money- closer to where they love, work and do business.
Through this
partnership, Pride Bank customers will benefit from two key solutions:
Quickteller Agency Banking, which extends selected banking services through
Interswitch’s network of more than 21,000 agents across Uganda, and the roll
out of Pride Bank Verve Debit Cards, connecting customers to a wider network of
ATMs and payment acceptance points.
Speaking at the
launch, Veronica Namagembe, the
Managing Director, Pride Bank, said the partnership reflects the Bank’s
commitment to making financial services more accessible to the communities it
services and responsive to the needs of its customers.
Moris Seguya, Country Manager, Interswitch Uganda, said the
partnership demonstrates the value of combining banking expertise with scalable
payments infrastructure to deliver more customer-centric financial services.
