Sironko Parents Secondary School have
been crowned District Champions for Netball and Volleyball.
Speaking at the award
ceremony, Isaiah Sasaga the Bugisu region secondary school sports association
chairperson asked schools to increase to increase funding in sports activities.
Sasaga said low
funding of sports activities was the reason many schools in Bugisu perform
poorly at national events.
Lydia Gimono the
Sironko district LC5 vice chairperson pledged to increase funding of the sports
budget at the District.
