Wataka has urged young people to fully exploit their sports talent instead of
engaging in gambling and acts of criminality.
Matembu who was presiding over Christmas football
tournaments in Bubulo West said sports is no longer a waste of time but a
source of employment to young people. Matembu explained that he is working hand
in hand with local, regional and national football teams to recruit talented
players identified in his constituency.
At the football finals, Matembu handed over uniforms
and balls to teams in his constituency. The teams include; Khabutoola F.C,
Nalondo F.C, Buweswa F.C, Lwanzusi F.C, Butta F.C, Manafwa T/C F.C and Bumufuni
F.C.

Wodeya Bobson the Captain Manafwa F.C and Nambafu Rogers a player for
Khabuttola F.C applauded Matembu for the initiative which has kept young people
busy.
